Access USATopics: Mail Forwarding, Postage, Shipping I've been using a freight forwarder to get items shipped to me but there is an annual charge. For someone like me, who doesn't use the service that often, it's a little expensive. The company is called Access USA and I pay 160 USD a year to have an American address. Prompt and reliable shipping. Not sure how the shipping rates compare to other outfits, but you're free to have a look. I spent quite a bit of time looking at various companies and Access USA seemed to offer the most. I was expecting mediocre service, but have been pleasantly surprised since starting the service about a year ago. Any questions I have have been promptly answered. They have a whole host of extra additional services, including a Shopper's service in which you can shop online using THEIR credit card! I wanted to use the iTunes store to download music, so the manager personally went out and found a company that offered prepaid credit cards and got me signed up to use iTunes from Japan. Amazing. Just like language schools here in Japan, it's often the smaller outfits that offer the higher quality service at cheaper prices. Again, highly recommended. I didn't realize that the service was so reasonably priced, I actually thought it was expensive until I heard about what other programs were offering.
