I think my biggest tip right now is going to the hairdressers here in Tokyo as a model. You might have to go at a certain time and mostly late in the evening (e.g. 7:30 pm or 9 pm) but you will have your hair done for free by top hairdressing salons. The trainees are normally very well trained and supervised and I had my highlights done already (with a great outcome) a few times which saves me over 15,000 yen each time.
