KakuyasuTopics: Accommodations, Travel I found a great site a few months back that has lists of hotels in every prefecture and major city. It even has a separate page for hotels that offer stays for less than 10,000 yen. I've used it twice and both times paid less than 3500 a person for VERY nice business rooms in the downtown area (once in Fukuoka and once in Hiroshima). All registration and reservations are done online and you don't need a credit card to reserve - just make the reservation and then pay when you arrive at the hotel. The only downside is the site is entirely in Japanese.
