A bit more expensive than the average frugal option, but if you have an open mind, these are a welcome travel resource. Also, LHs offer a very late checkout (12 PM or later). An overnight stay at a mid-range hotel (depending on the room) usually goes from Y8,000-Y12,000 or more.
