OCNTopics: Internet I arranged for OCN on my own at Bic P-Kan in Ikebukuro, and the monthly cost is about 4300 yen including NTT fees (they have to take their cut!) and router modem rental. As I was previously paying about 3000 yen for a dial-up that did horrible things to my phone bill, the savings have been considerable. My phone bill has dropped from 7000 to 10,000 yen to the 5000 yen per month range! The staff only speak Japanese but were very helpful about walking me through the setup process over the phone.
