Rakuten TravelTopics: Accommodations, Travel Rakuten Travel is a search engine of hotels around the country. Search the website for a number of hotels at a variety of price ranges. (Think the Japanese version of Ebay and Amazon all in one website.) Prices are not outrageously cheap, but the online reservation system is easy to use, and if you are traveling on an "off day" in Tokyo, you could probably stay at a really great hotel in Tokyo very cheaply.
